Come on! Be honest! When is the last time you took your car to see a movie?
Or asked another way… What do Southern California, Florida and Cape Cod all have in common? No… not oceans! Drive-In Movie theaters! Yes, there are still more than 350 operating Drive-In Theaters in the United States.
In the 1950s and early 1960s Drive-Ins were immensely popular, numbering well over 4,000, uniting America’s love affair with the car and the movies.
Today, it’s still a great place to take your car to see a movie… with a date, your partner, and/or the kids.
And (and this is big) you can even text without annoying your neighbors!
It’s an inexpensive way to see a movie, and a number of Drive-In owners are bullish enough on their business that they are even making the conversion from 35mm film to Digital Projection.
So re-live a tradition of America’s past and help them grow forward into the future! Take your car to a movie today! It will thank you! And yes, you can even bring your own food, without having to sneak it into the theater! Which I know you never do.
