MUSIC: HADDA BROOKS- She was a singer, and the Queen of Boggie in the 1950s, had her own TV show. And only got better by the time she was in her 80s.

PAPER: This is the best writing paper in the world. Super smooth. Great for pen and ink longhand. And even better, somehow you write better thoughts on it! |

BOOK: Perhaps no book had a greater impact on my photographic style than this book. I received a humanitarian award in high school and this was the prize. I still have it. Stunning 8x10 photography! |

BOOK: Alan Watts is often credited for introducing the west to eastern philosophies. This book is his final work. And it is a wonderful introduction to TAO.

STILL FILM Bergger makes some of the best black and white still film in the world. If you continue to shoot traditional film, I suggest you try them.

BOOK: Josef Skvorecky is another favorite Czech writer of mine. He, like Kundera gets at the soul of humanity. I love the journey of this book. |
